Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
16 August 2021
The non-surgical rhinoplasty is among the most popular trends in cosmetic surgery today. A rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a “nose job” is the surgical correction of the nasal shape by modifying the bones and cartilages of the nose. Patients will most frequently want to change the size of the nose, refine the tip or alter the nasal angle, remove a bump on the bridge or make the nose straighter and/or narrower. Historically, those seeking cosmetic improvements to their nose have been limited to surgical correction, but now we are able to improve the overall appearance of the nose using just fillers.
A non-surgical rhinoplasty is most effective for camouflaging a hump on the bridge of the nose, building up the nasal bridge, improving mild asymmetry and for “lifting” the nose by altering the shape of the nasal tip. Notable advantages of a non-surgical rhinoplasty are that there is little to no downtime, very minimal discomfort during the procedure and immediate results. A non-surgical rhinoplasty is not effective or recommended for very large noses, severely crooked noses or anyone hoping to improve functional issues such as obstructed nasal breathing.
